Unique test bed

The beauty of our network is in the fact that it operates in a real Open Access princible. Our role is only to build and operate the network and the customers can freely choose their services from the service provider they prefer.

Since we operate the whole fiber optic network ourselves, we have made it possible to use it as a huge “reality lab”. In this lab you can test your product or service before launching it to the real markets. Our test bed or “reality lab” gets funding from the Finnish Government’s KOKO Programme. With the help of our partners you can also perform tests which require mobile environments since they have closed and authentic GSM/3G operator grade test network.

Among our over 1000 fibre optic customers there are ordinary households and businesses as well as public sector buildings such as schools, hospitals, libraries etc. The actual amount of testers is many thousands because each fiber optic connection reaches more than one person. These all are real end-users from every society classes who are able to give valuable feedback on your product or service.

If you have for example a new amazing game targeted to 15-20 years old students, you can test it with us and get real feedback on its user experiences. Or if you have developed a health device for senior citizens to improve the quality of their life, we can arrange test users whether they still live at home or they have already moved to senior houses.
